The Scoop: Coming into last Friday, Krauss was hitting .219/.338/.391 with three home runs through 35 games. Scouts have wondered whether his lack of bat speed will eventually catch up to him. Yet Krauss found his stroke this week, hitting three home runs in four days and raising his season line to a much more respectable .252/.363/.471. Krauss still has his question marks as a corner outfielder with limited defensive ability and concerns about his bat, but weeks like this past one are encouraging.
