The system is down right now from even the start of the off season. Still some talant on the farm, Lee and Peacock figure to both be top 100 in 2012 and 3 others (Ranaudo, Scheppers, and Sale) were on a number of 2011 top 100 as well. Loux and Pollock are low ceilings and high floors guys. Salcedo and Mejia are on the rise after breakouts n 2011. Perez is a wildcard, a strikeout machine that fell apart as the season went on.

If this was done before the season ended:

1. OF Mike Trout
2. 1B Anthony Rizzo
3. SP Carlos Martinez
4. SP Zach Lee
5. SP James Paxton
6. C Derek Norris Was

Aaron Harang

Dodgers signed RHP Aaron Harang to a two-year, $12 million contract with a mutual option for 2014.
Harang will earn $3 million next season and $7 million in 2013. The mutual option, which can also vest based on innings pitched, has a $2 million buyout. The 33-year-old right-hander went 14-7 with a career-low 3.64 ERA over 170 2/3 innings this past season with the Padres. We suspect he'll miss PETCO Park (3.05 ERA at home, 4.70 ERA on the road), but Dodger Stadium is also a pretty good landing spot for a pitcher. He'll be worth pursuing in NL-only and on a matchup basis in standard mixed leagues.
