Juan Rivera a Blue Jay

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Blue Jays will also get Juan Rivera in the Vernon Wells/Mike Napoli swap.

The Angels had been wanting to unload Rivera's $5.25 million 2011 salary, but they took on Wells' ridiculous contract to do it. Rivera hit just .252/.312/.409 with 15 homers over 416 at-bats in 2010, but he hit .287 and belted a career-high 25 bombs the year prior. If Jose Bautista plays third base, Rivera will slide into Wells' spot in the Blue Jays' lineup, likely playing left field with Rajai Davis sliding over to center.
